Vivo launches a new gaming phone under its iQoo brand

Vivo iQoo gaming phone Vivo has just announced a new gaming smartphone in China. However, this gaming smartphone does not come under the Vivo brand. Instead, this gaming smartphone is launched as the first smartphone of Vivo iQoo. Recently, we got reports that Vivo has created a sub-brand which will be named as iQoo. Now, it has been confirmed that iQoo is a sub-brand from Vivo. It also suggests that iQoo is a gaming brand from Vivo. This is similar to Xiaomi’s BlackShark and Asus’s ROG brands.
As expected from a gaming phone, iQoo Gaming Phone comes fully beefed up with specifications. Apart from gaming, Vivo is also targeting the iQoo gaming phone for photographers. iQoo Gaming Phone is powered by the Snapdragon 855 chipset. Keep in mind that this is the latest processor from Qualcomm only seen on the Samsung Galaxy S10 series as of now.
Other than that, Vivo iQoo Gaming Phone also has a triple rear camera setup. Along with that, it has a Sony IMX363 sensor which was previously seen on the Google Pixel 3. Although, we have seen that Google has managed to turn the Google Pixel 3’s camera into a winner thanks to its software. So we should not expect to see the same level of images from Vivo iQoo gaming phone.
Along with that, Vivo has bundled 44W Vivo Super Flash Charge fast charging technology in this device. The company claims that this technology will help charge the device for up to 50% in just under 15 minutes. It is worth noting that this is double the OnePlus Dash Charge which claims to have about 60% in 30 minutes.
As the Vivo iQoo is a gaming phone, it has a 3D glass build that sports an LED strip at the back. Also worth noting is the fact that Vivo iQoo comes with up to 12GB RAM with options for 6GB and 8GB as well. In China, Vivo iQoo gaming phone is priced at CNY 2998 for the base variant having 6GB RAM. This roughly translates to a price of Rs. 31000 in INR. However, it is unknown whether Vivo will bring the iQoo gaming phone to India.
